March 2018

March is here and at last scout and guide groups around the country are beginning to plan their events and badges for this year. It is surprising how many leave things a little bit late as not always are the designs we are given suitable to be made in to badges.

Our current lead times are 3 to 4 weeks but if your badge needs to be altered in some way then this can delay things. There are many reasons why certain designs cannot be made in woven badges or embroidered badges. The most common is trying to get too much into your designs.

The designs can look fine when designed on A4 paper but when you come to scale things down to the size of a standard badge you suddenly find out the text is not readable or the detail required is just not attainable in weaving or embroidery.

The simple solution is to ask…….that is part of the service available to you to help you design the right badge for your requirements.

Our design service is free and we enjoy getting the right results for you as we feel that this reflects on us. We want others complimenting your badges and I don't just mean the quality of the finish but also the inventiveness of your designs.
