March 2019

March is upon us and Spring is just around the corner and of course those lighter nights. Business wise it’s a busy time of year for us as the financial year draws to an end and of course all the office and paperwork that goes with it.

That said the Dringhouses Scout Group have restocked their badges ready for the challenges ahead. With Gold, Silver and Bronze badges up for grabs we wish them all the best.

The Cleveland 29ers… not some American Football Team but Cleveland Scouts and Girl Guides heading and planning the forthcoming World Jamboree. What a fabulous badge design they came up with and certainly tested are ability to add colours to a design.

Spring is also the time for new sports to emerge on the agenda as schools and clubs gear up to new Athletics Season with badges awarded to merit those that excel and succeed.

Scout Districts and Groups are still amalgamating and forming new Districts and as they generally want to share something from their past heritage. This can be challenging as the badges are quite small and getting everything in can be tricky. Look out for the new Bedford Ouse Valley badges as it would be a cracker to add to your collection.

Hope everything goes well down in Hampshire for the Roverang 2019. Never got to find out exactly what goes on there but they keep doing it and we happy to keep producing their badges.
